I am a Canadian artist, born in
Mississauga, Ontario in 1979. I am currently based in both Toronto and
Montreal. I completed my BFA at Queen’s University in 2002, and
have continued, since then, to develop and exhibit my work
professionally.
My work is anchored in experimentation with
materials, particularly photography and paint, as a means to explore boundaries
between media. I am also interested in the relationship of materials to
experience, and the history that is evoked through the marks and traces that
scar the surfaces of objects and structures.
